Update for volunteers and street team members for 2012

Hello friends!

First of all I would like to say thank you to everyone who has ever helped make Piradical Productions and our various venues what they are today. We’ve had hundreds of people invest their time and energy into making the Indianapolis music scene awesome. Thank you!

Secondly here are some very important important updates for everyone who volunteers at Hoosier Dome or is on Piradical Productions street team:

Volunteers:

Our volunteer system is changing to be much more organized and rewarding. The first new requirement is that you come to a Saturday meeting at 4 pm at Hoosier Dome at some point this year. Once you have attended one of those meetings you can be added to the Hoosier Dome Volunteer group on Facebook. From there you can put down which days you want to volunteer at Hoosier Dome.

You must volunteer once a month to get into shows for free.

Street Team:

We will begin taking requests to be on the street team again in February. If you are already on the street team, know that flyers are coming in February, so be on the look out.

In February we will also be requiring street teamers to attend at least one show a month to stay on the street team.

Get at me on Facebook if you have any questions.

It’s our annual Indie Christmas show!

Every few months or so, Piradical puts together a show that is so good it blows my mind. This is one of those shows. I started listening to Brooke Waggoner about a month ago and I can not stop, she is so amazing. I would start by …checking out her Fresh Pair of Eyes EP (video and link below). And Chase Coy is on the bill, he’s a great friend and a real gem for the music scene in Indianapolis. Rounding out the bill, we have one of Ben’s favorite up and coming bands: End Times Spasm Band, they are fantastically dancy (think of our very own Squirrel Nut Zippers). Opening the show is our good friend Sara Sunshine’s Sun Dogs, I haven’t seen them yet, but I am sure they will not disappoint.
